The Promise @ San Jacinto College is BACK! The Promise at San Jac offers C.E. King High School, ECHS, and KASE graduating seniors the opportunity to receive an associate’s degree or certification for FREE!
There is no initial GPA or family income requirement so anyone can participate. Students who receive a associates degree from San Jacinto through Dual Credit or ECHS are unable to receive the promise. If they did not finish their degree or want to switch to a certificate, they could still qualify!
San Jacinto offers many certificate programs for: Welding, HVAC, Auto Tech, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Real Estate, CDL License, Barbering, Electrician, IT, and more!
The College & Career Center Team will assist all seniors in completing the first step to be eligible for the Promise @ San Jac. This opportunity can serve as an excellent Plan A or a great Plan Z for students!
Parents and Guardians, if you have a graduating senior who is not thinking about attending college due to cost or wants to work in a trade, encourage them to apply to the Promise @ San Jac!

August 1 is among us which means that the Class of 2026 Seniors can start on their Fall 2026 college applications!
We will share more details about the different websites that students can use to apply and the new transcript request form that any student can use to receive a copy of their transcript!

We will mostly be sharing programs and events that we will be hosting across the school year. As well as updates to FAFSA/TASFA 26-27 for our seniors and their families.

We are excited to share this year’s Financial Aid Workshop dates! Seniors are required to complete a financial aid form (FAFSA or TASFA) in order to graduate.
Be sure to attend one of the workshops to complete this requirement before graduation. If you have any questions, feel free to comment below or message this page to speak with a college advisor. Thank you!
