Carlos Rodriguez has been selected as Principal of Briscoe Elementary. Rodriguez most recently served as the Assistant Principal of De Zavala Elementary. Previously, he was an Instructional Specialist and Bilingual Teacher at Franklin Elementary. He taught for twelve years where he was a Title I Coordinator and East Area Teacher of the year. Rodriguez was recognized as East Area New Assistant Principal and Sheltered Instruction Coach of the year. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia and a Master of Business Administration Education (MBAE) from the University of Saint Thomas. Rodriguez has served the Houston’s East End community for twenty-one years.

Carlos Rodríguez ha sido seleccionado como director de la primaria Briscoe. Rodríguez recientemente sirvió como asistente de la dirección en la primaria De Zavala. Previamente, él fué especialista de Instrucción y maestro bilingüe en la primaria Franklin. Él enseñó por doce años en donde fué coordinador de Título I y maestro del año del área Este. Rodríguez fué reconocido como asistente de la dirección del año (primer año) del área Este y coach de instrucción del año del área Este. Él obtuvo su grado en Arquitectura de la Universidad del Valle en Cali, Colombia y una Maestría en Administración de Negocios y Educación (MBAE) de la universidad de Saint Thomas. Rodríguez ha servido a la comunidad del Este de Houston por veintiún años.
