This was a low book month. Started a new job in August & onboarding took off. I’ve learned that I cannot be in the middle of a book when I have something important coming up.
October will probably be another low month but I look forward to getting back into a regular groove.

Why do I love remote work? Much better nervous system regulation.
A 10-15 minute break sitting in the sun looking at my tulips translates into a much more productive work day.
Being able to regulate your nervous system isn’t just for kids. Ever me someone that couldn’t handle even the slightest inconvenience at work? Probably all of us at one time another other.
Here are a few benefits for professionals:
✅ Enhanced Performance: higher quality of work, more likely to stay on task, better executive functioning
✅ Effective Communication: less emotional reactive, clearer messaging, constructive feedback
✅ Increased Resilience: more flexible, better able to cope, less overwhelm
✅ Higher Employee Retention: overall more positive outlook, happier with current state, solution focused
So, the next time you judge your coworker for sitting outside for lunch - join them!
Who am I to say this? Just someone who’s taught a bunch of adults how to regulate better & found it was 100% transferable to their work relationships!

We all know toddlers have A LOT to say… they’re the OG patch kids.
Sour then sweet. Lots of lows and so many more highs.
I created this series to give toddler parents a good laugh on those rough days.

I personally worked with Lara about my mindset about eating post double jaw surgery. Going from 3 months of a liquid diet to painful & challenging chewing was more mentally exhausting than physically. She helped me shift my mindset about eating being “challenging” & what do ya know, it worked!
