Dearest Houston Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction and Top Teens of America,

It is hard to believe that our two years together has come to an end! What a joy and privilege it has been to serve as the President of the Houston Chapter of Top Teens of America. The friendships I've made, the mentors I gained, and the memories I share with all of you are mementos that I will always treasure.

While serving as Chapter President, I was supported by the BEST team. I want to thank the incredible TTA Executive Board Officers and Committee for their unwavering commitment to excellence. Each member of the Board worked tirelessly to ensure that we achieved our goals and remained committed to our organization's ideals. I am so grateful to each of you for your endless support and efforts to make this administration the success that it is. To our beloved TTA Advisor, Lady Kesha McNeil, and our superb Assistant Advisor, Lady Jackie Carter, y'all are the greatest! Thank you so much for working so hard so that we could learn and have a great experience in Top Teens. We are so grateful for the both of you and all of the Ladies who served on the Service to Youth Committee.

As we look to the next administration, under the leadership of Teen Kendal Burns, I am eager to see how Top Teens will continue to shine and soar. I have no doubt that Teen Kendal and the 2023-25 Executive Board will contribute to the rich legacy of Top Ladies and Top Teens alike.

In closing, my heart is forever indebted to Top Ladies and Top Teens for an amazing administration. May we remain committed to embodying our motto, “Participation is our foundation as leaders of tomorrow". May God continue to bless each of you abundantly and may God bless Top Ladies of Distinction and Top Teens of America.

Congratulations to Teen Jeremiah for securing and beginning his summer internship with Fort Bend County and for being accepted into Xavier University of Louisiana's Magnificent Male Program: A Black Male Experience. Keep striving for greatness!

The Houston Chapter saluted Teen Ava Winn as she conducted her last meeting as president. The installation of new officers occurred today. Teen Kendal Burns will lead the Chapter for the next two years.

Congratulations to our 2023 Scholarship Recipients recognized during the TLOD, Inc. Houston Chapter Founders Day Observance Luncheon. Also, congratulations to TTA President Teen Ava Winn, Most Outstanding Top Teen Award Recipient.

Founders Day is an annual tradition that provides an opportunity to commemorate the visionary leadership of our eight esteemed founders and their unyielding dedication to service in the community.
