On June 7th, we celebrated a historic milestone at our annual Scholarship Reception! For the first time ever, we were proud to award our first-ever community scholarships to deserving young men, bringing our funding total to an incredible $20,000 for the upcoming academic year.
To our amazing recipients: Your hard work, resilience, and brilliance have brought you to this moment. We were so inspired by the powerful words shared by our guest speaker, Dr. Kimberly Parrott, and we know you are going to take that inspiration and change the world. The entire chapter is cheering you on as you step into this next chapter! ✨
An event this meaningful wouldn’t be possible without the heart and dedication of Dr. Lori Banks and the Scholarship Committee. Thank you for upholding the Zeta principle of Scholarship, for the countless hours spent reviewing applications and interviewing candidates, and for your unwavering commitment to our youth.
Congratulations to our 2026 Scholars! 🎓💙🕊️

Help us celebrate Soror Jackee Green, our Stork’s Nest Committee Chair and May’s Pearl of Praise! ✨
When the opportunity arose to partner with The CAM Agency for their Community Baby Shower and Health & Resources Fair in Sunnyside, Soror Jackee leaped into action. She quickly mobilized her committee, aligned goals with our new partner, and executed a beautiful day of service. 🤝🏾🍼
Because of her leadership and the dedication of her committee, we were able to expand our reach—connecting with more mothers, families, and vital future partners in maternal health awareness. 🌸
Thank you, Soror Jackee, for your incredible vision and dedication to our community!

We are so excited to recognize Soror Rachel Ross, our June Pearl of Praise!
For the past three years, Rachel has been a cornerstone of consistency as our Secretary. During every single chapter meeting, she sits attentively, capturing detailed information from officers and committees to produce thorough, precise, and beautifully written minutes. Her work is so seamless it requires very few corrections.
But her impact goes far beyond her official role. Rachel is the definition of steady and dependable—consistently volunteering her time across numerous committees and community service projects whenever needed.
Thank you, Rachel, for your commitment and always being someone the chapter can count on.
