This is one of the topics we talked about during my Saturday session. The Power of One Degree Shift. How much of a difference does it make? How different is it from the degree it was before the 1° change?
Another comparison is with temperature. You see, at 211° the water is hot but when it hits 212°, it's boiling. And with boiling water out comes steam, which powers locomotives.
