Ross Shaw Sterling Aviation Early College High School is excited to invite current 9th grade students to apply for the Dual Credit Program through our partnership with Houston City College formerly Houston Community College.

Students who are interested in jump-starting their college journey and earning free college credit while in high school should begin their Apply Texas application by March 1, 2026.

Complete a HISD Magnet Application
Once Application is completed and the student has received their HCC W number from HCC Admissions, contact Coach Mathis or Ms. Fontnett for the Dual Credit Waiver Form Link.
Please note: Form can not be completed without the HCC W number
Look for follow-up instructions regarding testing, paperwork, and course selection
