Today we’re talking about our final full body task — steps! 👟
Steps are a GFG cardiovascular burst movement that we incorporate to significantly increase blood flow and elevate levels of fitness quickly. From the strengthening of the heart muscle to the flushing of toxins and spike of oxygen to the brain, the entire cardiovascular system benefits. Combining the previous strength tasks with this movement can increase metabolism, activate the burn state, increase “feel-good”endorphins, and ultimately transform the way you look and feel!

We’re talking push-ups today 🤩
Push-ups are planks in motion, so whether you are on bent knees or straight legs, push-ups require maximal effort. Control of the movement as the chest is lowered and lifted comes from the core, while strength is gained in all the muscles of the upper body. Push-ups provide us with strength for healthy spine alignment and grace with significant core control all in one move. Push-ups are the perfect movement for sparking your body to heat up, accelerate its metabolism, and flush toxins. This movement is also sure to put your pectorals, triceps, biceps, and lats to the test!

Our first class is just around the corner! 👀
Today is all about squats! 💫
Squats are a total body workout on steroids! Incorporating all muscles of your lower half, they activate the “burner system” of the body. The core stabilizes this movement and increases strength and vitality!
Being such a high-energy move, squats are a calorie crusher for sure. This propels the metabolism into overdrive, all while flushing the brain with delicious and life-giving oxygen. Squats are great to elevate overall body strength and endurance, maximize flow of fluids to provide nutrition and elimination, and provide the biggest bang for your ~strength~ buck!

Today the spotlight is on those lunges! 😍
Lunges are a fierce total body workout. This movement engages the largest muscles of the body, glutes and thighs, while stabilizing your core and increasing your heart rate. We love lunges for their benefits of better balance, total body strength, and greater flexibility at the hip. Lunging is also great for spine and brain health!
