🚀 YOUR MISSION MATTERS — ECHS South Daily School Schedules are here!

Launch into the school year:

⭐Mon–Thu: Block schedule that mirrors college class times (same classes M/W, T/Th)
⭐1st Block = 7:10 AM (students are tardy at 7:10)
⭐Lunch served 11:15–12:15 (some students may need to bring lunch if in college classes)
⭐Fri: PISD-only day with tutoring, homeroom, and college-work time — dismissal at 11:30 AM
⭐Fridays include PISD classes, Choice Tutoring, Homeroom, and a shorter block rotation.

Preparing for the 2026–2027 school year at ECHS — a quick checklist for students and families:
▶ECHS provides required college textbooks and resources.
▶All students must check out a PISD laptop from their home campus; device pickup is August 10 (SHHS) & August 12 (Dobie) at the home campus.
▶A limited number of graphing and scientific calculators are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
▶Students should supply pens, pencils, a planner, notebooks, wired headphones, and a USB flash drive.
▶Rain gear (umbrella, poncho, raincoat) is recommended; students are expected to attend class in rainy conditions.

⭐School starts at 7:00 AM (students are tardy to 1st block at 7:10 AM)
5️⃣We have 5 blocks each day (we call them “blocks” instead of periods)
⏰Last block (5th) is released at 2:55 PM Important: Students may not leave class early for after-school practice. If you’ll be late to practice, please communicate with your coach or sponsor in advance.

🚨 LET'S GET READY FOR 2026–2027 🚨
11th & 12th graders attending ECHS at SJC South — bus service is available! Here’s what you need to know:
• Pickup/drop-off locations: Dobie HS, South Houston HS, South Houston Int, Morris MS, Schneider MS, Melillo MS, Stuchbery Elem
• Pickup window: 6:25–6:45 AM
• Important: Students must provide their own transportation to these designated stops. Students may NOT ride their regular high school bus to school and then transfer to the college bus.
