Congrats to our KI Jazz Band for earning a 1- Superior Rating today at the 3rd Annual Klein Forest Jazz Festival! Way to go! Also a huge congrats for Jazz All-Star Soloist Awards to Camila Valdez on flute and Edwin Nieto on trombone! Thanks to Pride of the Forest - KFHS Band for hosting another wonderful day to showcase so much talent for Klein ISD !

Proud of our KI Symphonic Band for their performance today at our UIL Concert & Sight Reading Contest. We earned an overall “Excellent” rating on stage, and a “Good” rating in sight reading. While it’s not the outcome we wanted, today’s performance just like every other is a learning opportunity. This experience highlighted the importance of consistency and commitment in order to reach our goals. We will continue to grow and be back next year to earn 1s again!

For the 15th year in a row, Klein ISD has been named one of the Best Communities for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation! 🎶🏆

This national recognition reflects the dedication of our students, teachers, directors, staff, families, and community members who help make music education such an important part of the Klein ISD experience. From the classroom to the stage, our tradition of excellence in fine arts continues to shine across our district.

Super proud of our KI Non-Varsity Band. They scored an Excellent rating and got straight 2s across the board at UIL today! This group has only attended UIL a handful of times in the history of our campus! We are so proud of the work they are doing as we continue to grow! This money helps to cover bare necessities, and without it we could not do certain things, even as standard/routine as having a Pre-UIL Performance for our groups.
