Abstract reasoning is your brain’s ability to notice patterns and make connections between ideas. It helps you look at a problem, think about what you already know, and figure out a new solution. When you practice abstract reasoning, you’re training your brain to think creatively and solve problems in different ways. The more you use this skill, the better your brain gets at connecting the dots and making smart choices.
So next time you see a puzzle, pattern, or tricky problem, pause and use your brain to detect the patterns and see what connections you can find.
Our words have power. It’s so necessary to speak positively about our lives, and our situation because it allows our brains to grow and develop in a way that strengthens our frontal lobes. Celebrating your differences creates a safe space for conversation centered around self esteem and worth.
We are so thankful to have support and buy in from amazing BrainAbouts advocates like Ms. Reyes. She shares with others how impactful our program is and she’s always willing to find creative ways to use our program while teaching about Brain science.
