The team is back from St Louis tournament and I could not be more honored to be their Sensei. Several Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, 2 Grand Champion awards and several 4th, 5th and 6th place finish’s. While some may see not receiving a medal as a failure, I see it as a learning opportunity. As long as my team does their absolute very best…that is better than any Gold medal or grand champion trophy. It can be said, “I feel defeated” “I feel cheated” “I’m not sure the judging was fair”. If that is the case…Those happen every day in EVERY sport and there is no way to fix that in a lot of cases. As long as you did your very best, no one else can even have an opinion. I can assure you my team did their very best ! Did they suffer some tough loses? Yep? Were there tears? Yep. Great learning experiences and growth come from loss. God was glorified and my team rocked it no matter the placement. Enjoy the photos. Next stop, Destin Florida in November
