Northwest R-I School District The Northwest R-1 School District is located in House Springs, Mo. The district has received several distinctions over the past few years.

The Northwest School District provides a high-quality public education to approximately 6,600 children through nine schools and one early childhood center. Five of our schools have been recognized as Leader in Me Lighthouse Schools.

It's Thursday, and time for more Staff Shoutouts! Today we are recognizing two amazing administrative assistants: Valley Middle School's Miranda Manning and the Northwest Administration Center's Kelly Pulliam.

About Ms. Manning: Miranda is brand new to her role and the education world. She is incredibly kind and always has a positive attitude while learning so many job functions and information. Miranda is always happy to help families however she can.

About Ms. Pulliam: Kelly is always happy to help other departments and share her knowledge with others. She is a valuable resource and team player not only for us at the NAC, but for the district. She's always going above and beyond for her own team, to help other teams / staff members, and to provide the best customer service with parents / guardians as well.

Are you passionate about helping students? We’re looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for a temporary position from October through February!

In this role, you’ll work directly with students to assess, plan, and provide individualized speech and language therapy, helping them thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Key Highlights:
Duration: October – February (Temporary)
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher + Missouri SLP Certification
Responsibilities: Screenings, IEP writing/implementation, individualized therapy, and collaborating with teachers and families.
