Our 7th and 8th grade class is studying American Government. They learned about different days that states observe to honor and remember. They worked in groups to come up with their own special days. A personal favorite is Louisiana Raising Canes Day where every Louisiana resident would get a free Cane’s meal. Yes please!! 🤣😍

Our class leaders teach what they are passionate about it and makes a huge difference! Loving a subject and teaching a subject are two different things. We want students learning under people that are passionate about what they teach. Last night we received this feedback from a mom and it melted our heart!

3 more days until Open Registration!! Bayou Region Classical Co-Op dedicates morning class time to core subjects and activities. Parents maintain full autonomy to customize all subjects to accommodate their educational goals for each child. Class time will focus
on disscussion based activities using the classical tools for learning where applicable. We aim to meet on a weekly basis for 15 weeks each semester. 12 classroom weeks and 3 off campus weeks. Our goal is to allow parents to contribute to the community by sharing their strengths and passions with other families committed to home-education. In all things we commit to reinforce a biblical worldview as we explore God’s truth, beauty, and goodness.
