Our student-planted garden is flourishing! From fresh okra and tomatoes to watermelons beginning to grow, this garden is a beautiful reminder of what happens when seeds are planted, nurtured, and given the opportunity to thrive.

At Legion Park Elementary, our mission is not only to grow strong readers, mathematicians, leaders, and citizens—we are committed to helping every child grow into their fullest potential. Through hands-on experiences like gardening, students learn responsibility, patience, perseverance, and the value of hard work.

Just as these plants require care, sunlight, and time to produce a harvest, our students require encouragement, high-quality instruction, and meaningful opportunities to learn and lead.
