🌟 We are so excited to welcome our new counselor!!

Ms. Tamara Daigs has dedicated the past 6 years to education, including 4 years at Acadian Elementary and 1 year in the Lafayette Parish School System. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally while fostering positive relationships with families, staff, and the community. Ms. Daigs is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where all students can thrive and feel valued.
Ms. Daigs recently earned her master’s degree in counseling and is excited to begin her role as School Counselor at Coteau-Bayou Blue Elementary. She is passionate about social-emotional learning, student mental health, and helping students build confidence, resilience, and positive coping skills. She looks forward to collaborating with students, families, teachers, and administration to promote student success and contribute to a positive school culture within Terrebonne Parish.

6th grade day is a day that all students look forward to during their academic career at CBB! These 6th graders enjoyed crawfish, karaoke, a dance, extended recess, as well as their final walk through the halls! We can’t wait to see them return in 12th grade to walk one more time! 🐺
