We are a little over a month away from the April ACT! I am steadily adding students to my books. If these dates don't work, please don't hesitate to ask for other times. I will accommodate as much as possible! π
Dedicated to achieving academic growth and success. Welcome! I am a middle school math teacher with 6 years in the public school system.
My name is Ashlee Pellegrin, and I am here to help with all of your ACT and middle/high school tutoring needs! I have my Master's in Math Curriculum and Instruction, and I am currently pursuing my Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction as well. I specialize in math, but my tutoring experience is vast: ranging from first grade through college level Statistics, Biology, and English.

As the spring ACT season nears, here are my recommendations, do's and don'ts and TOPS score requirements. I am happy to answer questions as well. The final* deadline for graduating seniors to get their score where they want it is April!
(*Unless they haven't scored a 20 yet).

Spring Break is falling at the perfect time for me to help out a few more ACT students for the April test date. I have attached my availability here.
Hi! Just a quick update. I am not available for tutoring or ACT prep until Summer of 2026. I will post updates closer to that time. I will be deleting a few of my social media apps for a short duration. I apologize for any inconvenience.

So I've been radio silent for a couple weeks. I'm deeply sorry for that. At the end of May I went back to school and began a doctoral program. In July, my first set of three courses began, and wooh I was NOT prepared for the mental strain.
I'm actually writing this at 10:05 pm after finishing my papers that are due today. With getting back to my classroom and getting a full week of teaching under my belt, I've made a difficult choice to stop tutoring for the 2025-2026 school year. I do not have the bandwidth to give my best to my students, my family, and my own school work while tutoring 20+ hours on ACT prep weeks. I wish I did!
I'm pressing pause on a passion in order to do more good in the future. I don't want to "abandon" my ACT families, though, so stay tuned for my solution to the problem π«ΆπΌ I recommend Mr. Garner's ACT prep class if anyone is looking for a local option!

This has been a very busy summer for me! With the way things currently stand, I will have done 107 hours of ACT Prep over the summer.
My doctorate program will be in full swing at the start of July, so these are my ONLY remaining time slots for the JULY ACT. Please reach out to me via messenger to schedule!
I will be posting my availability for the fall test dates soon!

I am FULLY booked for all ACT prep and tutoring until April 8th.
I should have my June and July ACT availability posted soon. I want to thank my students and their families for sharing their success stories and recommendations. It truly does make a world of difference for local teachers like me π©·

β¨Tutoring is picking back up! β¨
I've had lots of people reach out, but are hesitant to commit to tutoring too early in the school year. If you are unsure about when to hire someone to help your child, here is my advice:
π¨ Don't wait until progress reports or report cards to intervene : when the first test or two comes back low, the "snowball" is already rolling! The longer it goes the more difficult the problems are to remedy.
Poor grades can be a sign of so many things : lack of confidence or motivation, missing skills, or not understanding the structure/style of a teacher or their class. Choose a tutor who makes your child feel supported in ALL of these areas!
Miracles don't happen overnight. GPAs get built from day 1. Let me take some of the stress off your plate! π―
