Region Two is proud to share our most recent graduates of ACG Maine's Maine Construction Academy! These ten dedicated CTE students spent their summer break learning the essentials skills of careers in the construction trades, visiting various job sites and meeting business and industry representatives, and earning an assortment of impressive industry recognized credentials. All of this hard work did not go unnoticed! These students were recognized for their accomplishments by receiving a certificate of completion and these incredible tool-sets that will get them started in their construction trade careers; they also received a generous stipend made available through partnership and collaboration with ACAP's Workforce Development Program. The students, their families, and staff all celebrated with a pizza party, which was enjoyed from the beautiful picnic tables that students built during their time in the program!

Region Two is so pleased to be involved with the Houlton Agricultural Fair in so many ways! This is a great spotlight on Mrs. Potter and her Culinary Arts students’ involvement in the baking competitions in the exhibit hall! 🥧

A fun weekend at the Houlton Agricultural Fair!

Region Two students and staff worked hard to develop, design, and create a variety of educational games and activities intended to teach fair-goers all about Maine agriculture! Stop by the Steve Porter Ball Field this afternoon until 5, and again tomorrow from 12-4 for a chance to play and earn a challenge coin (and perhaps some other fun prizes as well!). You may even see some familiar Region Two faces facilitating the games and contests there! We hope to see you at the Houlton Agricultural Fair!

There will be lots of great games and activities created by students in a variety of Region Two programs as well as a display about our school in the Exhibit Hall!

Houlton Agricultural Fair – Agricultural Education Experiences Area

Fair Director Alison Britton would like to remind everyone to visit the Agricultural Education Experiences Area at this year's Houlton Agricultural Fair!Open daily from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, this exciting area features multiple games, contests, and hands-on activities running throughout the day. Back by popular demand is the Skillet Toss, along with plenty of fun for children and the young at heart.

Presented by the Region Two School of Applied Technology, there's something for everyone to enjoy while learning more about agriculture and related careers.
