For the first time ever, Carleton Project was not able to offer a summer school program.

That’s hard to say out loud, because we know there are still students who need us. Students who need support. Students who need a safe place to belong. Students who are still asking to come here.

As we begin preparing for the 2026–2027 school year, we are asking our community to help us continue providing second chances for students who don’t always fit into traditional settings.

Every donation truly makes a difference. Every share helps us reach more people. And every person who believes in these kids helps give them hope for a better future. ❤️

Sharing this again because these kids matter. ❤️

Some of our students come to us believing they’ve failed, that school just isn’t for them, or that nobody understands what they’re carrying.

Then little by little, things start to change.

Confidence comes back.
Hope comes back.
They begin believing in themselves again.

That’s why Carleton Project exists.

⚠️ ATTENTION ⚠️

After learning that there will not be a Farmers Market this weekend, the vendors have decided to wait and join us another time when the market is taking place.

Because of that, they will NOT be set up at Carleton Project this Friday.

We’ll be sure to share updates and a new date as soon as one is planned. Thank you everyone for the support and understanding!

We love seeing our former students continue to chase their goals and build successful futures. 💚

This former Carleton Project alum graduated early and is now continuing her education while pursuing her passion for creating unique handmade items as a side business. She is currently working in the mental health field and continuing toward her master’s degree in psychology.

We’ve started a community window space at 52 Main Street where local businesses, events, and organizations can share flyers for things happening in Houlton. Being right downtown, we see a lot of foot traffic, so it’s a simple way for people walking by or visiting the area to stop and see the local scoop.

If you have something to share, feel free to stop by and add your flyer or reach out to us. Open to everyone, no cost, just community.
