While Laugh & Learn runs on structure and education we also realize the importance of fun, play and laughter in growth and development. We work to develop caring and responsive relationships with children from infancy through school age. Our days revolve around a schedule that’s designed for both structured and unstructured activities. Our goal is for your child to feel like a part of the family a

Congratulations to our friends at Northern Maine Community College for their huge accomplishment in being Maine's ONLY National Association for the Education of Young Children accredited higher education program! This is a big accomplishment that has taken them lots of time and effort! Congrats ECE team!

Employee of the month for July is Miss Kaitlyn! Miss Kaitlyn is a student at NMCC works mostly in the PreK room and we’ve had the opportunity to get to see her grow tremendously in her ECE career. Kaitlyn started with us as a Region Two student, started working for us officially while she was still in High School and now she’s very close to having her ECE degree! She’s amazing with the kids, understands the importance of developing those relationships with them, is always willing to jump in and help out regardless of classroom, never calls out and is an all around star employee!

Employee of the month for JUNE is Miss Maddy! Miss Maddy is our Toddler Assistant Teacher and is always willing to help us in a pinch, it doesn't matter what classroom she'll jump in and lend a hand. Some things said about Miss Maddy:

Houlton Agricultural Fair – Agricultural Education Experiences Area

Fair Director Alison Britton would like to remind everyone to visit the Agricultural Education Experiences Area at this year's Houlton Agricultural Fair!Open daily from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, this exciting area features multiple games, contests, and hands-on activities running throughout the day. Back by popular demand is the Skillet Toss, along with plenty of fun for children and the young at heart.

Presented by the Region Two School of Applied Technology, there's something for everyone to enjoy while learning more about agriculture and related careers.
