Love Letter to a 💌
Joelle,
I know I say this all the time, but I am truly so grateful to have you in my life. You inspired me to join DPhiE in the first place, and you have always believed in me from the start. You choose to see the good in everyone, you’re honest and unjudgmental, and the most level-headed, intelligent, and inspirational woman I’ve ever met. You truly inspire me to continuously set the bar higher for myself, see my self worth, and see the world from new perspectives all the time. You’ve challenged me, and it’s made me grow so much as a person. I admire your strength, your confidence, your resilience, and your kindness. You are truly an amazing person, and you have made me feel determined to harness these traits myself.
I will forever cherish our times together, from all our long debrief sessions to even just seeing you in passing on and around campus. You always make my day better when I see you! And not only that, but you’ve made my world so much better by being in it. I’m so lucky to not only call you my friend, but my sister forever. You embody Esse Quam Videri to its very essence, and I simply love everything about you.
