On Move-In Day this August, East Hall residents will be welcomed by an idyllic, new outdoor space. Sastic Courtyard will be named in honor of Houghton alumni Drs. Jonathan ’75 and Lois (Morgan ’75) Sastic, who contributed significantly to Houghton’s overall residence renewal efforts. Once completed later this summer, Sastic Courtyard will provide students and visitors with an expanded and welcoming entrance, as well as outdoor recreational space.

Houghton Named 2026 NCCAA #KingChasing Institution of the Year - Houghton University Athletics HOUGHTON, N.Y. — Houghton University Athletics has been named the 2026 National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Institution of the Year, recognizing the department's continued commitment to integrating faith and purpose into the collegiate athletic experience.

Beginning this June, the Houghton University Alumni Board invites the entire alumni body to join them in lifting Houghton in prayer each month with a specific focus. This month, please join us in praying specifically for our enrollment, retention & recruitment efforts.

Please pray for prospective and returning students. Ask that each would find belonging, purpose, and support within the Houghton community.
