That's a wrap on Kingdom Bound 2026!
Houghton University was honored to once again serve as the main sponsor of this incredible festival. Over the past three days, we've experienced powerful worship, inspiring teaching, meaningful fellowship and countless reminders of God's faithfulness.
From connecting with more than 2320 students at our booth to watching our student interns serve with excellence behind the scenes, this weekend was filled with moments we'll never forget.

It's the final day of Kingdom Bound, and we’re having an incredible time. We're thankful for every conversation, every new connection and every opportunity to share what God is doing at Houghton University. Hearing from President Lewis and watching the Houghton team faithfully serve throughout the festival has been such a blessing.

A Message from President Wayne D. Lewis, Jr.
Dear Highlanders,
Last night, the Nielsen Physical Education Center sustained significant fire damage. We are incredibly thankful that no one was injured. As we assess the impact, our overwhelming feeling is gratitude that the situation was not far worse.
The primary damage was contained to the women’s volleyball locker room, which was undergoing renovation. Smoke and water damage also affected other parts of the building. Our teams have been working continuously to begin the recovery process.
We are especially grateful to Houghton’s Safety and Security team, whose vigilance led to a rapid emergency response and to the Houghton Volunteer Fire Department and neighboring fire departments for their tremendous support.
As we continue recovery efforts and prepare to welcome campers next week and students back in the weeks ahead, please join us in prayer for our campus. We also give thanks for the leaders, staff members, and first responders whose dedication reflects God’s provision and protection.
