Join us on Thursday, April 9 at 6:30 p.m. in the Dining Hall for our Young Alumni Panel! We have invited several young alumni to return to campus to discuss their time at Houghton and transition into life after college. You will have the opportunity to hear from:

* Julia Hotchkiss - Pastor at Peace Wesleyan Church
* Jonathan Durbin - Data Scientist @ University of Rochester Medical Center

HU Students - check out the renovated Business Investment Center in the Chamberlain Center this week! This is one of multiple projects happening around campus along with the Gillette/East Hall renovations, updated footing for the Equestrian Outdoor Riding Arena, and multiple improvements to Burke Field and the baseball and softball dugouts and scoreboards. It's wonderful to be part of a community that cares and donors who care about students!

2016 - Houghton students attended a networking trip to Washington, D.C. Seniors - mark your calendar for Jan. 7-10, 2026 for the 2nd annual Senior Trek including a networking trip to Buffalo, NY!

Handshake - what is it? Houghton uses the Handshake career services platform to
- Schedule appointments with the Center for Student Success team
- Reserve the Interview Room and the Wellness Room (with massage chairs)
- Connect students with job posts and employers around the globe
- Access curated resources for preparing your resume, applying to grad school, practicing interview skills, and much more!

November 5 in Buffalo, NY - free for Houghton students and alumni! If you want a ride from Houghton, be sure to sign up on the Houghton Hub!

Free event (Nov. 5) Western New York Career & Internship Fair in Buffalo - free transportation provided from Houghton. Register on the Hub and contact the Office of Vocation and Calling with questions and to prepare! 45+ employers will be there.
