🚓🚑🚒 A HUGE thank you to our amazing Houghton Lake first responders for another incredible Safety Day! This biannual event gives our students the opportunity to learn important safety skills while having an absolute blast exploring emergency vehicles and meeting the heroes who serve our community every day.

A special shout-out to Deputy Martin for organizing such a fantastic experience. Your dedication and partnership mean so much to our school and families!

Our kids had an unforgettable day, learned so much, and left with an even greater appreciation for the people who help keep Houghton Lake safe. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible! 💚🖤

💙⛳🏎️ What an incredible way to wrap up the school year!

Our Final Family Activity Night at Lakeland was everything we hoped for and more. From putt-putt and go-karts to hands-on math and STEAM challenges, our students and families showed that learning can be fun, active, and full of laughter.

The amazing turnout reminded us just how special the Collins community is. We are so grateful for the families who continue to partner with us, support our students, and help create the positive, welcoming environment that makes Collins Elementary feel like home.

As another school year draws to a close, we want to thank each and every one of you for the relationships we've built together. Those connections are what make our school family so strong and the foundation for our students' success.

We're already considering innovative ways to bring our community together in 26-27. Please reach out with suggestions! We can't wait to see what next year brings, with even more fun, engaging events and new opportunities to continue growing our Houghton Lake Collins Family.

Tonight's the night! We can't wait to celebrate the end of the school year with our Collins families at Lakeland Recreation from 5:30–7:00 PM!

❓ Who can attend?
This event is open to Collins Elementary families only (immediate family members and your Collins students).

❓ What's the purpose of the event?
To have FUN together as a family while tackling some exciting Math and Science challenges, enjoying activities, and making great memories!

❓ Do parents need to stay?
Absolutely! Parents/guardians are expected to directly supervise their children and families throughout the event.

❓ Will food be available?
Yes! We'll have light concessions available (pizza, popcorn, beverage), but please note that a full meal will not be provided.

❓ How much does it cost?
💲 Everything is FREE!

❓ Who can win prizes?
🏆 While everyone can participate in the activities, prizes are limited to our Collins K-6 students.
