Happy National Occupational Therapy Month💙
We are so thankful for our amazing partners at Kidsource and our dedicated Occupational Therapist for the incredible support they provide to our students every day. From building fine motor skills to helping with emotional regulation and daily living skills, their impact is truly life-changing!
One fun and effective reflex integration exercise we love to use is Crossing Sit-Ups—a simple activity that helps connect both sides of the brain while improving focus, coordination, and core strength.
✨ Try it at home:
• Have your child lie on their back with knees bent and feet on the floor
• Bring one elbow to the opposite knee, then switch sides
• Alternate sides for about 1 minute
This movement supports better concentration, body awareness, and processing skills—all while getting those wiggles out!
