Hey, JA families!
Thank you for two amazing weeks! We especially appreciate the way so many of you have reached out to our admin team with questions, concerns, and feedback. The communication and partnership have been wonderful, and it truly feels like we are working together as The Village!
📚 Schedule Adjustments: Due to increased enrollment, we have added additional Social Studies, Math, and Science sections to help maintain appropriate class sizes. As we make these adjustments, some students may see a change in their teacher or class period. We are working hard to ensure that students remain in the elective courses they selected, although the teacher or period may need to change in some cases. Thank you for your patience as we make decisions that best support all students.
🚗 Dismissal & Safety: Please make sure your student knows how they are getting home each day. Car riders must be picked up at the front of the school, not on the sides of the building, and students should never walk into the parking lot to find their ride. At dismissal, students should go directly to their bus or to the front of the school for pickup. Students may not remain in the building or on campus waiting for athletic events or programs. Students attending these events must leave campus after school and return accompanied by an adult. These expectations are important for the safety of all of our students.
👕 Dress Code: Please continue to review our dress code expectations with your student and help us ensure they arrive at school ready for a successful day.
🖤💛 HSJA Shirts Are Coming! We will soon be selling school shirts! Be on the lookout for order forms through ParentSquare and on our social media pages. We want to have specific days each month were our “Be the Village” shirts.
