First Grade Is Learning Beyond the Classroom!

Learning doesn’t always have to happen inside the classroom. Our first graders are taking their learning outside! They’re exploring their environment, making observations, asking questions, and discovering the world around them through hands-on experiences.

What a FIRST DAY!

The halls of Langston were filled with smiles, laughter, learning, new friendships, and so many memorable moments! The minute our students walked through the doors, they reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

Today was just the beginning of an incredible year as we BUILD A LEGACY OF LEADERS by:

And this year, our learning will extend beyond the classroom and into the great outdoors!

Every great journey starts with one small step... ours started at Kinder Camp.

What an incredible three days it has been! Our tiny Trojans have spent the week learning classroom routines, making new friends, exploring their school, and building the confidence they'll need for a successful start to kindergarten.

We are so proud of how much they have grown in just a few short days. Their smiles, excitement, curiosity, and courage have reminded us why we love what we do.

To our newest Langston families, thank you for trusting us with your children. We can't wait to welcome our newest Langston leaders back on August 4 for the first day of school!

The countdown is on, and we are ready for an amazing year as we continue Building a Legacy of Leaders by Elevating Every Experience.

Kinder Camp – Day 2!

Our tiny Trojans are already beginning to look like true Langston leaders!

Today was filled with smiles, new friendships, hands-on learning, and lots of opportunities to practice kindergarten routines. Every activity is helping our future leaders build confidence, independence, and excitement for the school year ahead.

It's amazing to see how much they have grown in just two days!

One more day of Kinder Camp before we officially welcome our newest Langston leaders back on August 4. The future is bright, and it's starting right here at Langston!

And just like that... we're back!

Yesterday, we welcomed our newest Langston leaders as our tiny Trojans arrived on campus for Kinder Camp!

Over the next few days, our future kindergarteners will begin learning all things kindergarten, making new friends, exploring their school, building routines, and growing the confidence they'll need for a successful start.

We are so excited to watch these young leaders begin their journey and can't wait to officially welcome them back on August 4 for the first day of school!

Throughout ATLAS testing, our Langston Leaders in Kindergarten through 6th grade were recognized with a variety of incentives to celebrate their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. While there were many exciting rewards along the way, these student favorites always create the biggest smiles!

Our 3rd–6th grade students who were on time for all four days of testing were entered into a drawing for their choice of a pair of Nikes, Converse, or Vans. This year, every winner chose a pair of Nikes! Watching each student select a style that reflected their personality was such a fun and memorable experience.

Our K–2 students also had an opportunity to earn a special reward. The students with the highest Math or Literacy score in each grade level could choose between a pair of Vans or a Stanley Cup. The verdict was unanimous......every winner chose a Stanley Cup!

We are incredibly proud of all of our Langston Leaders for the perseverance, focus, and determination they demonstrated throughout testing season. Their commitment to Leadership Through Excellence continues to shine both inside and outside the classroom. Congratulations to all of our winners, and thank you to every student who gave their very best effort this year!

Celebrating Excellence at LELA!

Today, we had the privilege of recognizing our outstanding 1st–5th grade students during our End-of-Year Awards Ceremony! Students were honored for their achievements in academic growth through Atlas scores, demonstrating our Capturing Kids’ Hearts character traits, and being selected as Terrific Kids.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work, leadership, character, and determination our students have shown throughout the year. Their growth, both academically and personally, has been inspiring to watch.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients and to every student who worked hard to make this a successful year! We can't wait to see our Langston leaders continue to learn, lead, and grow through excellence next school year.
