On June 12, 2026, a leadership and officers meeting was conducted at the Fairgrounds for all members in those positions. 25 members representing 6 EHC Clubs were present for the meeting that was conducted by Alison .
Lynn Paul started the meeting by telling everyone how the State meeting went in North Little Rock last week. She also told us about an upcoming field trip to Crystal Springs to view a special expo this month that features an EHC exhibit. Enough members were interested that will make it possible to travel together in a van and possibly spend the night there. More details will be forthcoming in the next few days.
Alison told us how important it was to have a positive attitude at all times even when confronted by negative vibes. A game was played to emphasize the positiveness in each of our club members.
Alison told us of a special workshop for our 4-H members concentrating on how to eliminate the waste of fabric in our society thereby keeping it out of our municipal land fields. She will be teaching those members how to make aprons out of men’s shirts and then doing another smaller project from the left over scraps.
A delicious pot luck lunch was afforded to all attendees and it felt and looked like a feast. All of our members are fabulous cooks and we certainly enjoyed all foods that were provided for us to have that day.
After lunch all officers broke into their individual groups representing their respective offices for the upcoming new year. These meetings will certainly encourage us to do our best this year and we are all looking forward to the most progressive EHC year that we have ever had!
A return to the main meeting assembled to a final wrap up by Alison and Lynn Paul telling us of our new yearbooks .
A good positive informative meeting came to a very positive conclusion and we are all looking forward to a very productive positive new year for all 7 EHC Clubs!
