We are SO close!
Last month, 7th-12th grade Trojan Band members began collecting donations to cover the registration costs for students attending summer band camps. Each student's registration is $350 and we set a group goal to completely fund 30 camp registrations.
We have currently raised enough to cover the cost of 22 camps! Yes, 22! Although we are incredibly thankful to our supporters who have already given very generous donations, we believe it is still possible to fund our remaining 8 camps!
Our band program benefits greatly when our students are able further their music education at summer band camps! 🎵

What was hotter than today's morning cup of coffee?
MVPA DRUMLINE!
We are extremely proud of the musicianship, showmanship, and bravery shown by HSSD's only elementary Drumline! These Main Street Visual and Performing Arts Magnet School 5th graders meet for 1 hour each week and work incredibly hard to make sure one of their first instrumental music performances is memorable for the Drumline and for an audience of their peers!
We are thrilled that many of these drummers plan to take on 6th grade as member of our Hot Springs Trojan Bands!
This week we said goodbye to an incredible group of Trojan Band Seniors. We are grateful for their years of dedicated service to our band program, school and community. The HSSD Bands are greater because of you all.🖤💛

On Monday May 4th members of the HSWCHS Band traveled to Arkansas Tech University to compete in the Arkansas - State Solo and Ensemble competition. All five members in attendance medaled in their performance categories!

🎶🏆 Congratulations to our talented musicians from Hot Springs World Class High School and Hot Springs Junior Academy! 🎺🎷🎼
On Friday, April 24, students competed at the 2026 Solo and Ensemble Competition at Mountain Pine High School and brought home an incredible collection of awards! 👏
Our students earned:
🥇 59 First Division awards in Solos, Duets, and Small Ensembles
🥈 13 Second Division awards in Solos
A special shoutout to Bailey Arquitt (Flute), Liam Evans (Trombone), Julian Frazier (Saxophone), and Jayden Villalvazo (Saxophone), who qualified to compete at the Arkansas State Solo and Ensemble Competition at Arkansas Tech University on May 4 & 5! 🎉🎶

Congratulations to the Hot Springs Trojan Bands students who represented us well today as members of the 2025 All Region Bands! After only 5 hours of rehearsal, our Trojans and students from other schools in the region, showcased their outstanding achievements through superior performances!
This weekend, three of these students travel to the University of Central Arkansas to compete for seats in the Arkansas All-State Jazz and Concert Bands!
