Please help us welcome Mrs. Piper Anzaldua to the CMA Staff! Piper is a long-time parent at CMA. Her son Dantez will be a senior this fall, and her daughter Esther will be attending KD! Piper is excited to be teaching our 7-12 English Classes as well as our Art/Home Economics Electives. Her love for English and reading comes from a time in her childhood when she struggled with reading and spelling due to dyslexia. She used that as a catalyst to push herself to read more and developed a deep love for reading through that struggle. She has many years of experience teaching homeschool and holds an Associate of Science degree. She was part of the US Army as a 75 bravo serving with a signal battalion. During those years she participated in martial arts and hand-to-hand combat winning several trophies. Her many hobbies include candle and soap making, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, and sewing. Piper has a deep, personal relationship with Jesus and puts Him at the center of everything she thinks and does. She is looking forward to helping our students grow in their love of reading and to helping them steward the gifts and abilities God has given them. Welcome to the team, Piper!

Please help us welcome Jennifer Stansel to the CMA Staff! She and her husband have three children, two of whom have attended CMA since 2021. One is a Senior and the other is a Freshman this coming school year. She has homeschooled in the past for a total of 11 years and is looking forward to teaching Kindergarten again! She shares the vision of CMA fully and believes that keeping God at the center of education has always been one of her highest priorities. She is also proud to be “Lolli & Pop” to their first grandchild who is almost 2! She grew up in Tallahassee, earned a degree in music from Florida State University, and currently enjoys playing the flute with the Hot Springs Flute Ensemble. Her family recently returned from Southern Illinois, where her husband served as Head Pastor, and she served as the Choir Director and Middle/High School Sunday School teacher. Welcome to the team Jenn - we can’t wait to see all that God will do in and through you at CMA in the Kindergarten Class!

She has a genuine love for Jesus and a heart for ministry, with a desire to faithfully serve wherever God leads her. In this role, Jewel will play an important part in supporting our students, parents, and staff while helping keep our office running smoothly and efficiently. We are so excited to have you on the team, Jewel, and look forward to all God will do through you at CMA!

Please help us welcome Layla Wurts to the CMA Staff! Layla is a Leaders Academy graduate who has a tremendous heart for children’s ministry. Her calling and desire to teach and train the next generation of little Conquerors has propelled her to pursue teaching at CMA. She will play an active role in elementary education and development. We look forward to her using her God-given abilities with the students at CMA!

Today we honor Mrs. Angela Kern! Today was her last day in the classroom at Christian Ministries Academy. For over 25 years Mrs. Angela has taught, mentored, and served in the Ministry of CMA. Her excellence in academics along with her love for her students has made her a most-beloved teacher. Her English classes as well as the History Fair will never be the same, and her snickerdoodle and crinkle cookies are legendary (iykyk) 🍪! Mrs. Angela, we would like to thank you for pouring your heart and soul into the lives of the students at CMA all these years. We ask God’s abundant blessings, peace and joy on your next chapter!
