Daddy Daughter Dance 2020

I love the Choose Love curriculum and program so much. We implemented it last year and I see such a difference in our students as they learn about displaying courage, gratitude, forgiveness, and compassion in action. Please go follow these pages on FB and Instagram to learn more about this amazing program. They shared our choose love trees on their pages tonight that I sent them yesterday. So exciting!❤️❤️❤️

Our choose love program teaches gratitude which is a very important concept for kids to learn. Some of our kids wrote letters of gratitude to the police officers who lost a fellow officer and friend this week. I am so touched by these letters and wanted to share just a few. Fountain Lake Elementary appreciates all of our police officers.
Officer Butcher, we are sorry you lost a fellow officer and personal friend. We hope these letters encourage you and other fellow officers. We appreciate all that you do to protect us.💜💛💙🖤

KINDERGARTEN PARENTS,
Don't forget our kindergarten parents' boohoo breakfast from 8:00-8:30 in the morning. Please drop your kindergartener off with their teacher, give them lots of hugs and kisses, and then come to the cafeteria for breakfast on us! We will have plenty of tissue for those sad moms and dads! It's going to be a great year in kindergarten!

This should make all cobras very proud! FL is an awesome place to be!

Linda Bates with the Garland County Extension Office came out today to do safety rotations for grades 2-4. Our kids learned all about safety in 11 different sessions including large animal safety, snake safety, water safety, forest safety, bicycle safety, internet safety, among others. Thank you, Linda Bates, for organizing this and bringing it to our school! The kids loved it!

Thanks to our five career speakers that came to tell about their careers today in kindergarten and 1st grade. Dr. Angela Frost, coach Dett, Rachel Peters, Corey George, and Officer Butcher, we appreciate you all!!!

The Kindness Adventure with NED was FUN! We took an adventure to Kenya and learned about being kind and helping others.💕
