Timothy, the spiritual son and protégé of the Apostle Paul, DIED AS A STREET PREACHER -- preaching repentance and crying out against idolatry. (No, street preaching obviously wasn't culturally accepted in the 1st century, either!)

(Catagagion was a a festival in which the Greeks carried images of their gods about the streets.)
