JCHS Teacher of the Year — Mr. Alex Nichols

Congratulations to Mr. Alex Nichols, JCHS 2026–2027 Teacher of the Year! Mr. Nichols serves as our IB Coordinator and makes a positive impact across our entire school through his leadership, collaboration, and support of both students and staff. JCHS Support Person of the Year — Mrs. Erin Hughes

Congratulations to Mrs. Erin Hughes, JCHS 2026–2027 Support Person of the Year! Mrs. Hughes serves as a Media Assistant in the Library Learning Commons and provides outstanding support to our students and staff each day. We are grateful for her dedication, helpfulness, and commitment to JCHS!

Spanish Honor Society is now accepting fall applications! You must be in or have taken at least a level 2 Spanish class to apply. Please see Ms. Wangenheim in 4246 or Mrs. Uesseler in 4225 for an application!

Junior Leadership Jackson is a community based, 8-month leadership program for high school students who live in Jackson County. JLJ aims to support the development of young leaders through structured events and educational programs in partnership with the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Jackson program. Participants will have the opportunity to interact and learn from representatives of various industries and organizations in and around Jackson County.
