Attention Cherokee Bluff parents & students!!!

Believe it or not, it is time to plan for next school year. High school registration can be a confusing time. You are presented with a wide arrange of options that not only impact next year but a student's entire high school experience. The Grad Ladder offers a personalized plan for your student.

We start with a student questionairre to get to know more about your child. Based on their responses, we create a comprehensive, multi-year plan. We even explore options available at other Hall County schools. For example, if your child is interested in an Audio Visual career, there are some schools within a short driving distance that offer these pathways.

Students, did you know that some high school classes count as dual credits? Think about it! Getting two credits for one class...

Students, did you know you can earn the Modern Language requirement without learning how to speak a foreign langauge?

Parents, did you know the requirements for the Hope Grant varies based on college choice? A student with a GPA under 3.0 can have their education paid for by the state of Georgia.

If your child wants to attend UGA, here are some current stats on early student admittance.

It's great to be a Georgia Bulldog! UGA received 26,760 early action applications for next fall’s incoming class, a record over last year’s high of 26,000. More than 11,500 applications were from Georgia residents, an 8% increase over last year, and more than 15,000 were from out-of-state applicants. https://t.uga.edu/9Ca

Did you know 8th grade students can take up to 5 high school credit classes?
One benefit is this sets up for options like dual enrollment (college classes), AP classes, work based learning, or early graduation.

I would love to help set your student up for a variety of opportunities in high school
