The 2026-27 school year is officially underway for our newest HASD staff members!

This week, we had the opportunity to welcome our new staff together as they spent time learning, connecting with colleagues, and preparing for the students who will soon fill our classrooms and hallways.

There is something special about the beginning of a new school year, and we are excited for the experiences, talents, and passion this group will bring to our students and schools. More importantly, we're excited for them to experience everything that makes the HASD community such a special place to learn, work, and grow.

📢 Complete Your Annual Student & Family Information Update in Skyward 📢

As we prepare to welcome students back for the 2026-27 school year, we ask all Hortonville Area School District families to complete their annual Student & Family Information Update in Skyward. This yearly process helps ensure we have the most accurate information for your student and family before the first day of school.

During the update, families will be asked to review and confirm important information, including:

Parent and guardian contact information
Emergency contacts
Required annual forms
Photo and media permissions
Other important student information used throughout the school year

Even if nothing has changed, every family should log into Skyward and complete the update. Confirming your information each year helps us communicate effectively with families, respond quickly in emergencies, and ensure we have the permissions and forms needed to support your student throughout the school year.

We encourage families to complete this process as soon as possible so everything is in place before the start of school! Thank you for partnering with us to help make the beginning of the school year as smooth as possible for your student.

August is here, and that means back-to-school preparations are beginning! We can't wait to welcome our Polar Bears back in just a few weeks.

School supply lists for the 2026-27 school year are now available on our website. Whether you're checking off items one at a time or planning a shopping trip, now is a great time to take a look and get a head start on the new school year.
