This week, Mrs. Dean’s Introduction to Psychology classes took their learning beyond the classroom today with a visit to Ridge Road Elementary.

As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, the high school students shared presentations about emotions, read books with younger students, and led discussions about healthy ways to care for our brains and mental well-being.

This meaningful collaboration between students, teachers, and administrators gave elementary students valuable lessons while allowing the high schoolers to apply what they’ve learned in a real-world setting.

In Horseheads, any student can ride the bus. If your family will require transportation in the coming school year, please submit a bus request form before May 31. Your timely submission helps the Transportation Department finalize routes over the summer and avoid last-minute adjustments that can cause confusion for students and families.

Our Horseheads athletes had a wonderful day at the 607 Spirit Games hosted at Corning-Painted Post School District today!

Students took part in a variety of running, jumping, and throwing events, giving each athlete the opportunity to showcase their abilities, determination, and sportsmanship. Most importantly, it was a day filled with smiles, encouragement, and pride.

We are incredibly proud of our athletes for the enthusiasm and heart they brought to every event. Thank you to everyone who volunteered to make the event possible.
