We are committed to providing an excellent elementary education, from Pre-K through grade six.

We provide small classes with dedicated teachers who help to guide students spiritually, academically and morally. Founded in 1959 as an educational ministry of the parish of Saint Mary Our Mother, our school warmly welcomes children of all faiths, throughout the Twin Tiers, to be part of our school family.

What a colorful, creative, and wonderfully MESSY week at Little Messy Art Camp with Mrs. O’Brien!

Our young artists had an amazing time exploring their creativity, trying new techniques, and making masterpieces they can be proud of. From paint splatters to big smiles, every day was filled with imagination, laughter, and hands-on fun.

This camp fills up incredibly fast every year, and after seeing the creativity, excitement, and joy these campers experienced, it’s easy to see why! A huge thank you to Mrs. O’Brien for sharing her talent, enthusiasm, and love of art with our students.

We can’t wait to see what next summer brings! πŸ’™πŸ’›

We are honored to share a very special addition to our music program at SMOMS. A beautiful piano now has a home in Mrs. Piet’s music classroom, carrying with it a meaningful story and a treasured memory.

Mrs. Piet’s grandmother had a beautiful wish β€” that her memory would live on and continue to bring joy to others through music. In honor of that wish, Mrs. Piet spent time carefully researching and searching for the perfect piano that would not only fit her classroom, but also represent the love, memories, and legacy her grandmother left behind.

We are grateful to share that this beautiful instrument has found its place in our school, where it will be played by our students, inspire creativity, and become part of countless musical moments for years to come.

A piano is more than an instrument β€” it is a way to share stories, create memories, and keep a loved one’s spirit alive through the gift of music.

Thank you, Mrs. Piet, for sharing this special piece of your heart with our SMOMS family. πŸ’™πŸ’›

Our school community recently gathered for our final Character Trait Assembly of the school year, celebrating Courage and Personal Best. Students and staff proudly dressed in rainbow colors as a symbol of positivity, growth, and the many wonderful qualities that make each member of our SMOMS community unique.

During the assembly, we were excited to recognize class recipients who consistently demonstrated courage by taking on challenges, trying new things, and making choices that reflect kindness and strength. We also celebrated students who showed personal best by giving their greatest effort, persevering through challenges, and always striving to grow. These students serve as wonderful examples of determination, confidence, resilience, and a commitment to excellence.

We are so proud of all our students for living out these important values throughout the school year. Courage and personal best continue to shine brightly at SMOMS! πŸ’™πŸ’›

We pray that all of our students, families, and staff have a safe, restful, and blessed summer filled with faith, family, and memories. We look forward to seeing everyone again in the fall! πŸ’™πŸ’›
