Each child used one finger to stamp paint onto each column, carefully counting their fingerprints to match the number shown.

✨The children were asked to count and place the correct amount of “gold” into each 10-frame. This hands-on activity helped them match numbers to quantities while having fun with St. Patrick Day theme .

Today our toddlers and preschoolers had so much fun playing a “Roll & Color” game! The children rolled a die, and whatever color it landed on determined which crayon or item they had to place in the matching color spot.

Today, the toddlers and preschoolers worked on their fine motor skills through tearing paper, gluing, and cutting practice.

Tearing paper, using glue, and practicing cutting may look like simple and fun — but they are building BIG skills for our toddlers and preschoolers!

These simple activities are so powerful for both toddlers and preschoolers:

✂️ Cutting Practice strengthens hand muscles and improves coordination needed for writing.📝

📄 Tearing Paper builds finger strength and control.

Using Glue helps develop hand-eye coordination, focus, and patience.

Fine motor activities like these help prepare little hands for holding pencils, buttoning coats, tying shoes, and becoming more independent every day.

Today we practiced counting using math link cubes and candy hearts ~ the learning was AMAZING!

Hands-on activities like this help our toddlers:

✨ Build early number sense
✨ Understand one-to-one counting
✨ Learn concepts like more, less, and equal
✨ Strengthen fine motor skills (those little hands were pulling cubes apart)
✨ Grow their vocabulary while counting and describing
