Our HHS STEM Club welcomed Dr. Paul Jasper recently to learn about degrees and careers in biology. Drawing on his background in immunology, research, and 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Jasper shared advice with students as they explore their interests and future paths.

Thank you, Dr. Jasper, for sharing your time and experience with our students, and to the STEM Club for making this opportunity possible!

Play is powerful! 💚🧡 At last week’s PreK Open House, families learned how play helps our youngest learners build language, solve problems, develop friendships, and explore the world around them.
Thank you to our PreK team for sharing ways families can support early learning at home—and to our families for joining us!

October 10 is World Mental Health Day—a reminder that caring for our mental health matters at every age.

Here in HPS, we want every student, staff member, and family to feel heard, supported, and connected. Each of us can help: check in with someone, listen without judgment, include someone who may feel left out, and make asking for help part of everyday conversations.

We don’t always know what someone else is carrying. A little care and connection can make a difference.

Cross country is back on campus! For the first time since COVID, the Hillers will host a cross-country meet on campus with a new course! The route passes by the turf, crosses Fields 7, 8, and 11, and loops around Fields 12 and 13. Thanks to all involved for making this happen. Go Hillers!

Big Hillers, little Hillers, and lots of connections! 💚🧡

Through the Hiller Mentoring Program, HHS students head to Marathon to help out, work alongside our youngest learners, and serve as mentors and role models.

We love seeing our high school students give back and our Marathon students connect with someone they can look up to. Five schools, one Hopkinton! 👏

Elmwood and Hopkins staff and families—your morning could use a little Hiller fuel!

The HPTO’s Hiller Fuel Stop is coming to school drop-off:

💚 Thursday, October 8 — Hopkins
🧡 Friday, October 9 — Elmwood

Preorder your favorite coffee or pink drink for a $5 donation, and add a Donut Stand donut for another $5. Your order will be ready at drop-off!

Orders are due October 7. Payment will be collected at both schools on October 8 and 9—cash or check.

A little caffeine, a little frosting, and a great way to support our schools. Thanks, HPTO!

Lots of energy and excitement in today’s outdoor classroom! 🌿🔎 Our fifth graders took to the trail between Hopkins and Field 10 for a BioBlitz, exploring the living things around them.

Great to see our students’ curiosity in action and our school grounds providing a place to learn, discover, and connect with nature!
