The Hopkinton School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Sara Duval as the next Principal of Harold Martin School, effective July 1, 2026!

Sara brings nearly 20 years of experience in New Hampshire public education, with the past 15 years in the Hopkinton School District. She has extensive experience as an educator, literacy specialist, and student support specialist, meaning she deeply understands children - the way they learn, grow, and develop - and is already a committed member of the Hopkinton community.

Sara shared, "I believe the strongest schools are built through partnership. When educators, families, students, and our community work together with a shared purpose, we create opportunities for every child to thrive. I’m honored to continue my work at Harold Martin School and excited for all we will accomplish together.”

Maddy Lane of Hopkinton High School is the 2025-26 Gatorade New Hampshire Girls Track and Field Player of the Year.
Gatorade Player of the Year is the top honor in high school sports, celebrating the nation’s best high school athletes for
their excellence in sport, academics and community.
The award recognizes Lane as New Hampshire’s best high school
girls track and field athlete and she joins an elite legacy that spans professional athletes and coaches to CEOs."

-12 HOPKINTON GRADUATES EARN NAT'L SEAL OF BILITERACY!!
¡Felicidades! Félicitations! Glückwunsch! Hopkinton High School's World Language department is thrilled to announce that 12 recent graduates earned the Seal of Biliteracy! The Seal of Biliteracy is a national award that recognizes students who have studied and attained proficiency in two or more languages. The State of NH began the program in 2020, and our district implemented it in 2024. Students took a rigorous exam and attained an "intermediate high" ranking. This means they can tell stories in the past, present, and future, they can exchange information in a conversation, they can handle an unexpected complication, and they can communicate in paragraphs. Congratulations to Isabella Correa, Cole Czarnecki, Madison Dwyer, Rebecca LeWine, Sara Vargas, and Adrian Whiteknact for achieving the "silver" Seal of Biliteracy. Congratulations to Kipling Hedquist, Avery Loew, Julia Martel, Aubrey Nepveu, Reagann Watson, and Aubrey Weldon for earning the "gold" distinction. We hope that these students will continue to explore world languages and cultures well after graduation!
