Tonight is opening night for Campanile's production of Newsies, running tonight through March 13th at the Alhambra Theatre. If you don't already have your tickets, you can get them at https://www.campanileproductions.com. We'll be excited to watch several of Music Central Academy's students perform in the show. We would like to officially welcome our new vocal instructor, Craig Hodge, to the Music Central Academy family!

Craig is a classically trained vocalist, who has been seen in over 25 theatrical productions in the past 15 years, as well as numerous choirs, and vocal programs. He currently teaches the Drama program at Heritage Christian Academy, and he and his wife Kelsey own and operate Craig + Kelsey Photography here in Hopkinsville.

We had a great time hosting the fall recital of the guitar and drum students of Corey Thomas this evening. Everyone played beautifully, and it was a wonderful evening of music. Thanks to all who attended!

Music Central Academy is excited to welcome Abigail Reed to our instructional staff! Abby received her bachelor's degree in music performance from the University of Louisville and earned her master's degree in music performance from the University of Alabama. While at Alabama, she won the graduate division of the Alabama Music Teachers Association competition and performed for that state's music educator conference at Auburn University. Abby will be accepting flute students of all levels and beginning students on other woodwind instruments starting immediately.
