Learning science doesn’t always happen inside the classroom as we learned today from Melissa Lassiter, 4th Grade Science teacher with Millbrooke Elementary School.

Seeing limestone formations, stalactites, stalagmites, and other unique cave features at Mammoth Cave up close brought their learning to life! This opportunity gave students a chance to learn through exploration and experience. STEM learning becomes more meaning and creates memories that will last far beyond the classroom!

🐴We extended our All In Agriculture Education Week by bringing a few friends from the farm to Millbrooke! 🐓

Our Cardinals had the opportunity to visit animal stations, get a closer look at some farm friends, and learn about the important role these animals play in our everyday lives. From food production to supporting agriculture, there is so much to learn from the farm! ❤️🖤
