The Round Table Literary Journal, will be accepting submissions of original, unpublished works of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and visual artwork for its 2027 edition now through December 31, 2026.
The Round Table Literary Journal is the historic print literary journal of Hopkinsville Community College. Established by former HCC English professor Frances Thomas and her students in 1967, the journal has been published annually ever since, showcasing the best literary fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and high-contrast artwork from the local area and beyond.
Selected contributors to the journal will read from their work at the annual Round Table Readings and Literary Awards Ceremony to be held in the spring. During the event, The Round Table journal will be unveiled, along with the announcement of the 2027 Round Table Literary Awards.
Submissions are open to HCC students, faculty, staff, and their families, as well as community members and K-12 students in our service region. Please email your original writing or artwork to The Round Table at: [email protected].
