🎉🏀 BIG NEWS 🎉🏀
We are thrilled to announce that Hopkins grad and WNBA Rookie of the Year Paige Bueckers has generously offered to match the next $50,000 in donations to the Relief Fund! supports Hopkins Public Schools students and families with food security and support for housing and utilities in this time of stress and uncertainty. This is an incredible opportunity to double the impact of your contribution and make a real difference in our community right now! Let's rally with Paige to support our students and their families. Not only has Paige been a superstar on the court for Hopkins High School, UConn, and the Dallas Wings, but food security has always been close to her heart. "When Hopkins families are supported with food and care, our young people can thrive," said Bueckers. We're so grateful for her support in this effort! 🙌💙 https://bit.ly/HopkinsStrong

In times like these, community is more important than ever. My Senate District colleagues, Senator Ron Latz and State Representative Cheryl Youakim, and I are having a Town Hall tomorrow night, Wednesday, June 25th, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
All constituents are invited. We can have some space to talk and remember Melissa and Mark Hortman. And we'll also discuss and answer questions about the recently completed session, which seems like years ago, though the special session was just two weeks ago.

The Hopkins Legislative Action Coalition (LAC) stands with our advocacy partners and echoes their sentiments and condemnation of political violence.
We are reeling from the news that dedicated public servants who work alongside us to protect public education in Minnesota are targets of hate and violence.
We are committed to continuing the good work of those elected officials. Speaker Emerita Hortman’s legacy will live on in classrooms across the state and our hearts are with the communities and loved ones most impacted by Saturday’s horrific acts.
Our deepest gratitude goes out to the Hoffman family and to our Hopkins legislators- Representatives Acomb, Falconer, Freiberg, Kraft, and Youakim, and Senators Cwodzinski, Johnson Stewart, Latz, and Rest - who tirelessly serve our community.
We share in your grief during this time and offer our full support as you carry on the critical work for MN families. The Hopkins LAC remains steadfast in its advocacy for public education, working alongside partners who share our values of love, inclusion, and equity.
Respectfully,
Hopkins Public Schools
