A few great reasons to give Chesterton a read (or many reads). What's your favorite Chesterton work?

Happy birthday to our patron! We hope that you're celebrating with some Chestertonian cheer in his honor.

"The first fact about the celebration of a birthday is that it is a way of affirming defiantly, and even flamboyantly, that it is a good thing to be alive…. But there is a second fact about Birthdays, and the birth-song of all creation, a fact which really follows on this; but which, as it seems to me, the other school of thought almost refuses to recognize. The point of that fact is simply that it is a fact. In being glad about my Birthday, I am being glad about something which I did not myself bring about."

"Four years of exposure through daily Mass, hearing the Scriptures, daily prayer, and the actual study of both philosophy and theology set me up for success."

Another beautiful testament to the power of true classical, Catholic education. Thank you, Capt. Reinhart Boeser (Chesterton Academy '15)!

"That's what the culture [at Chesterton] is like: it's a culture that's pursuing Jesus."

What an incredible testimony from Chesterton alumnus, Michael Hornecker ('23)!

Socratic discussion is at the heart of a Chesterton education. But what does that mean?

It means that each classroom on a Chesterton campus holds a group of students and teachers who are committed to grappling with the most important texts, questions, and ideas in history -- as a team. Through discussion, students are challenged by their peers and teachers to articulate what they think and why. Over time, each cohort of students becomes a community that encourages depth of thought, a dedication to clear expression and charity of discourse, and courage in the pursuit of Truth.
