Learning how to study well is a powerful way that young people can give glory to God!

Here are three tips to help guide students in this pursuit:

1. Be humble: embrace your God-given gifts, acknowledge where you have room to improve, and work hard not to view yourself as more important or better than others.

2. Uplift others: support, encourage, and engage with your classmates as they pursue truth in their own studies.

3. Prioritize prayer: though it may seem counterintuitive, making time for prayer outside of your studies will give you the perspective and right ordering needed to pursue your academic work for the glory of God.

G.K. Chesterton once wrote, "Peace is not the absence of war, it is the virtue born from the strength of soul."

High school gets noisy. Between Socratic debates, choir practice, and science labs, it's easy for the day to become a blur.

That’s why we step into the sanctuary right in the middle of the storm.

Midday Mass reminds us that before we are scholars, athletes, or artists, we are sons and daughters of God. It turns the entire rest of the afternoon into an act of grace.

He wrote detective stories, told jokes, and sometimes forgot where he was going. So should Chesterton be a saint? Dale Ahlquist sat down with Conor Gallagher to answer it properly.

Truth asks us to see the whole picture.

G.K. Chesterton understood how easily a fragment of truth can become misleading when separated from everything that gives it meaning. A half-truth can sound convincing precisely because part of it is true—but wisdom requires us to look further, ask better questions, and seek truth in its fullness.

At Chesterton Academy of The Holy Family, students are taught not simply what to think, but how to think carefully and honestly. Through thoughtful discussion, rigorous study, and the integration of faith and reason, they learn to pursue the whole truth rather than settle for the easiest answer.

Because the pursuit of truth is ultimately inseparable from the pursuit of a life of virtue.
