Six Feet from Home is an exhibit centered around the work of Ubah Medical Academy’s Photo & Design students. These courses began in person during the Spring 2020 semester and were completed online when students could no longer physically be in school. The title, Six Feet from Home, reflects the current pandemic of Covid-19 around the world and the required distance (6 feet) to be kept between people. Students had to collaborate and finalize their projects whilst at home. They created books about various stories they wanted to share with the help of their teacher Mrs. Katie Do and teaching artists Mr. Mohamud Mumin and Mr. Kaamil A. Haider. These stories are of culture and religion, of a boy and a monster, of a dream and identity, and much more.
The first phase of the exhibit will take place online on Say Masha’Allah Gallery’s website. This will be followed by the physical printing of books and a physical exhibition at Ubah Medical Academy.

Last night was a massive success! Come see the final art show for first semester titled "Spectrum of Stories," open until February 6 in the Say Masha'Allah gallery.
Thirty-five Photography & Design students at Ubah Medical Academy tell stories of the beauty of differences within collective ideas. With the help of art instructor Katie Do and artists-in-residence Mohamud Mumin and Kaamil A. Haider, the students worked in teams to tell relatable stories from their perspective about culture, religion, superheros and abstraction. Their goal was to highlight individuality found in togetherness.

A great visit for the College Microeconomics class! Thanks to Wolf Creek Dairy for being such great hosts!
Wow! What a chilly day to have a tour. These students from Ubah Medical Academy in Mr. Coleman’s college in the schools, microeconomics class were outstanding! Their thoughtful questions and attention was way above average. What a great way to spend a couple hours in thoughtful conversation.
