Hopkins Public Schools Learning Locally, Competing Globally! The Hopkins Public School District has been serving the Hopkins-Dorr community since 1884.

Serving a student population of approximately 1550, the district offers two K-5 elementary schools, one 6th-8th grade middle school, and one 9th-12th grade high school, as well as a 0-5 year-old Welcoming Schools program. We encourage your participation on our page and ask that you exercise civility and good will in your communication. Any comments that are intentionally rude or deride the opinions of others will be removed. In addition, comments containing profanity, vulgarities, accusations or accusatory language toward an individual will be removed. Violations of these rules may result in your banishment from the page and you could be reported to Facebook for termination from the network. Did you know....Hopkins has never had a dedicated auditorium space! Performances are currently held in cafeterias, gymnasiums, and other alternative locations. Scheduling conflicts are common, and our performing arts and music groups have grown too large for the stages available to them.

A dedicated auditorium is a part of the November 3, 2026 bond proposal.

🎶 What an incredible run for our band!

At the Otsego Invitational, the band earned first place in Class C, taking home captions for Best Guard, Best Marching, Best Music, and Best Color Guard!

The excitement continued at the Hastings Invitational, where the band set a new school record with a score of 85.6! They also finished first in Class C, earning awards of excellence for Color Guard, Marching, Music, and Best Drum Majors!

Congratulations to our talented students and dedicated director on these outstanding achievements! 👏

Come cheer them on and experience their show, “There’s a Monster Under My Bed,” at any of our remaining home football games! 🏈🎵
