Our Tiny House tours were a special and important way to end our week.

When children engage in art-making, it provides them with an opportunity not only to visually convey their thoughts and emotions, but also to articulate their creations and ideas verbally. They can communicate their ingenuity, describe their creative process, and reflect on what succeeded (or didn’t!) during their artistic journey. This enables them to proudly showcase their work, builds confidence, emphasizes the advantages of creating within a community, and sparks inspiration among their peers.

Tiny Houses Week as a whole was epic—but it was built from tiny, powerful moments of dreaming, discovering, planning, building, sharing, and excitement.

Minuscule plates filled with shells, unicorn swings, triple bunk beds, iridescent fireplaces, sideways rooms, animal havens, mustachioed windows, slides, disco game rooms, fairy rooms, Pokemon hang-outs, rooms dipped in many shades of pink, libraries, writing desks, coffee shops, ocean rooms, gum ball machines, sleeping porches, alien wall art, storage for treasure, and much more.

Each tiny detail carried a big imagination, and each little house became a place where ideas could take shape, challenges were met with ingenuity, and what was envisioned became possible.

Tiny Houses Week was every bit as magical, joyful, and wildly imaginative as we could have dreamed—and somehow, even more.
