We want to take a moment to honor our teacher of the year for 2025-2026.

Sarah Gordon joined our team with many years of experience teaching students with autism. She brought her expertise to LEAD and has poured into our Early Instructional Foundations (EIF) classroom. In addition to overseeing 9 students, she also oversees 9 staff that support those students. She is dependable, knowledgeable, passionate, and consistent. We are so grateful for her contributions to LEAD since she joined the fam, and look forward to seeing continued success from her students and team in the coming years.

Diamond has been a long time team member at LEAD. Her team and students always know what to expect from her because she exemplifies dependability and consistency. She is an incredible educator and has a calming presence when students are having a difficult moment in the classroom. She sets the example for our team members throughout the building.

Rakim joined our team this year and has modeled what it means to be a LEAD lion in every way. He embodies our culture, helps students succeed academically and behaviorally, and is a great teammate to his peers.

It's safe to say that he has found his niche and what he was born to do! We celebrate you and honor you Rakim!

Dates of ESY are June 15th - July 23.
